22nd Battalion CEF

The 22nd battalion was recruited throughout the province of Quebec, and mobilized in St-Jean, Quebec, with a strength of 36 officers and 1097 other ranks. The battalion embarked from Halifax on 20 May 1915, on the troop ship Saxonia, and disembarked in the UK on 29 May, and arrived in France on 15 September.

21st Battalion CEF

The 21st battalion was recruited in Eastern Ontario, and mobilized in Kingston, Ontario, with a strength of 42 officers and 1053 other ranks. The battalion embarked from Montreal on 6 May 1915, on the troop ship Metagama, and disembarked in the UK on 15 May, and arrived in France on 14 Spetember.

20th Battalion CEF

The 20th battalion was recruited in in Aurora, Milton, Parry Sound, Owen Sound, Whitby, Barrie, Brampton, York, Simcoe, Niagara Falls, Dundas and Sudbury, and mobilized in Toronto, Ontario, with a strength of 35 officers and 1100 other ranks. The battalion embarked from Montreal on 15 May 1915, on the troop ship Megnatic, and disembarked in the UK on 24 May, and arrived in France on 14 September. 

19th Battalion CEF

The 19th battalion was recruited in Toronto, Hamilton, St. Catharines, Brantford, and Sault Ste Marie, and mobilized in Toronto, Ontario, with a strength of 41 officers and 1073 other ranks. The battalion embarked from Montreal on 13 May 1915, on the troop ship Scandinavian, and disembarked in the UK on 22 May, and arrived in France on 14 September.

18th Battalion CEF

the 18th battalion was recruited in London, Windsor, Woodstock, Chatham, St Thomas, Strathroy, Stratford, Galt, Guelph, Walkerville and Goderich, and mobilized in London, Ontario, with a strength of 36 officers and 1081 other ranks. The battalion embarked from Halifax on 18 April 1915, on the troop ship Grampian, and disembarked in the UK on 28 April, and arrived in France on 15 September.

17th Battalion CEF

The 17th battalion was organized at Camp Valcartier and composed of recruits from Nova Scotia and one company from Toronto, with a strength of 44 officers and 624 other ranks. The battalion embarked from Quebec on 30 September 1914, on the troop ship Ruthenia, and disembarked in the UK on 14 October.

16th Battalion CEF

The 16th battalion was organized at Camp Valcartier and composed of recruits from Victoria, Vancouver, Winnipeg and Hamilton, with a strength of 47 officers and 1111 other ranks. The battalion embarked from Quebec on 30 September 1914, on the troop ship Andania, and disembarked in the UK on 14 October, and arrived in France on 7 February 1915.

15th Battalion CEF

The 15th battalion was organized at Camp Valcartier and composed of recruits from the Toronto area, with a strength of 46 officers and 1109 other recruits. The battalion embarked from Quebec on 3 October 1914, on the troop ship Megantic, and disembarked in the UK on 14 October, and arrived in France 14 February 1915. 

14th Battalion CEF

The 14th battalion was organized in Camp Valcartier and composed of recruits from Montreal, Quebec, with a strength of 46 officers and 1101 other ranks. The battalion embarked from Quebec on 30 September 1914, on the troop ships Alaunia and Andania, and disembarked in the UK on 16 October, and arrived in France on 10 February 1915.

13th Battalion CEF

The 13th battalion was organized in Camp Valcartier and composed of recruits from Montreal, Quebec, with a strength of 45 officers and 1110 other ranks. The battalion embarked from Quebec on 25 September 1914, on the troop ship Alaunia, and disembarked in the UK on 16 October, and arrived in France on 16 February 1915.
