183rd Battalion CEF

The 183rd battalion was recruited in Manitoba, and mobilized in Winnipeg, Manitoba, with a strength of 27 officers and 764 other ranks. The battalion embarked from Halifax on 4 October, 1916, on the troop ship Saxonia and Missanabie, and disembarked in the UK on 13 October. 

182nd Battalion CEF

The 182nd battalion was recruited in Ontario county, and mobilized in Whitby, Ontario, with a strength of 9 officers and 208 other ranks. The battalion embarked from Halifax on 3 May, 1917, on the troop ship Justicia, and disembarked in the UK on 14 May.

181st Battalion CEF

The 181st battalion was recruited in the district of Brandon, and mobilized in Brandon, Manitoba., with a strength of 20 officers and 597 other ranks. The battalion embarked from Halifax on 18 April, 1917, on the troop ship Grampian, and disembarked in the UK on 29 April.

180th Battalion CEF

The 180th battalion was recruited and mobilized in Toronto, Ontario, with a strength of 31 officers and 833 other ranks. The battalion embarked from Halifax on 14 November, 1916, on the troop ship Olympic, and disembarked in the UK on 20 November. 

179th Battalion CEF

The 179th battalion was recruited and mobilized in Winnipeg, Manitoba, with a strength of 32 officers and 890 ranks. The battalion embarked from Halifax on 4 October, 1916, on the troop ship Saxonia, and disembarked in the UK on 13 October. 

177th Battalion CEF

The 177th battalion was recruited in Simcoe county, and mobilized in Barrie, Ontario, with a strength of 19 officers and 549 other ranks. The battalion embarked from Halifax on 3 May, 1917, on the troop ship Metagama, and disembarked in the UK on 14 May. 

176th Battalion CEF

The 176th battalion was recruited in Lincoln and Welland counties, and mobilized in St. Catharines, Ontario, with a strength of 18 officers and 446 other ranks. The battalion embarked from Halifax on 29 April, 1917, on the troop ship Olympic, and disembarked in the UK on 7 May. 

175th Battalion CEF

The 175th battalion was recruited in the Medicine Hat district, and mobilized in Medicine Hat, Alberta, with a strength of 30 officers and 847 other ranks. The battalion embarked from Halifax on 4 October, 1916, on the troop ship Saxonia, and disembarked in the UK on 13 October. 

174th Battalion CEF

The 174th battalion was recruited in Manitoba, and for a brief period of time, western Saskatchewan and Alberta, and was mobilized in Winnipeg, with a strength of 14 officers and 275 other ranks. The battalion embarked from Halifax on 29 April, 1917, on the troop ship Olympic, and disembarked in the UK on 7 May. 

173rd Battalion CEF

The 173rd battalion was recruited and mobilized in Hamilton, Ontario, with a strength of 32 officers and 930 other ranks. The battalion embarked from Halifax on 14 November, 1916, on the troop ship Olympic, and disembarked in the UK on 20 November.
