203rd Battalion CEF

The 203rd battalion was recruited and mobilized in Winnipeg, Manitoba, as a temperance battalion, with a strength of 32 officers and 956 other ranks. The battalion embarked from Halifax on 26 October 1916, on the troop ship Grampian, and disembarked in the UK on 5 November.

202nd Battalion CEF

The 202nd battalion was recruited in the Edmonton district and mobilized in Edmonton, Alberta, with a strength of 27 officers and 773 other ranks. The battalion embarked from Halifax on 24 November 1916, on the troop ship Mauritania, and disembarked in the UK on 30 November. 

201st Battalion CEF

The 201st battalion was recruited and mobilized in Toronto, Ontario, as a temperance battalion of former school cadets. The battalion was broken up in Canada in September 1916, and members were transferred to the 170th and 198th battalions.

200th Battalion CEF

The 200th battalion was recruited and mobilized in Winnipeg, Manitoba, with a strength of 17 officers and 477 other ranks. The battalion disembarked from Halifax on 4 May, 1917, on the troop ship Megantic, and disembarked in the UK on 14 May. 

199th Battalion CEF

The 199th battalion was recruited in the Montreal district and mobilized in Montreal, Quebec, with a strength of 33 officers and 860 other ranks. The battalion embarked from Halifax on 20 December 1916, on the troop ship Olympic, and disembarked in the UK on 26 December.

198th Battalion CEF

The 198th battalion was recruited and mobilized in Toronto, Ontario, with a strength of 31 officers and 841 other ranks. The battalion embarked from Halifax on 28 March 1917, on the troop ship Metagama, and disembarked in the UK on 10 April.

197th Battalion CEF

The 197th battalion was recruited in Western Canada amongst men of Scandinavian origin and mobilized in Winnipeg, Manitoba, with a strength of 9 officers and 306 other ranks. The battalion embarked from Halifax on 26 January 1917, on the troop ship Scandinavian, and disembarked in the UK on 6 February.

196th Battalion CEF

The 196th battalion was recruited in Brandon College, the universities of Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia, and mobilized in Winnipeg, Alberta, with a strength of 32 officers and 974 other ranks. The battalion embarked from Halifax on 1 November 1916, on the troop ship Southland, and disembarked in the UK on 11 November.

195th Battalion CEF

The 195th battalion was recruited and mobilized in Regina, Saskatchewan, with a strength of 31 officers and 998 other ranks. The battalion embarked from Halifax on 1 November 1916, on the troop ship Empress of Britain, and disembarked in the UK on 11 November.

194th Battalion CEF

The 194th battalion was recruited in the Edmonton district and mobilized in Edmonton, Alberta, with a strength of 31 officers and 912 other ranks. The battalion embarked from Halifax on 14 November 1916, on the troop ship Olympic, and disembarked in the UK on 20 November.
