3rd Battalion CEF
The 3rd battalion was organized in Camp Valcartier composed of recruits from Toronto, Ontario, with a strength of 42 officers and 1123 other ranks. The battalion embarked from Quebec City 25 September 1914, on the troop ship Tunisan, and disembarked in the UK on 16 October, and arrived in France on 11 February 1915.
