166th Battalion CEF
The 166th battalion was recruited and mobilized in Toronto, Ontario, with a strength of 32 officers and 859 other ranks. The first draft of the battalion embarked from Halifax on 13 October, 1916, on the troop ship Olympic, and disembarked 19 October. The second draft embarked on 18 October, 1916, on the troop ship Cameronia, and disembarked in the UK on 28 October.
