132nd Battalion CEF
The 132nd battalion was recruited in Northumberland County and the North Shore and mobilized in Chatham, New-Brunswick, with a strength of 32 officers and 807 other ranks. The battalion embarked from Halifax on 26 October 1916, on the troop ship Corsican, and disembarked in the UK on 5 November.
