75th Battalion CEF

The 75th battalion was recruited in Toronto, Hamilton and London, and mobilized in Toronto, Ontario, with a strength of 36 officers and 1114 other ranks. The battalion embarked from Halifax on 1 April 1916, on the troop ship Empress of Britain, and disembarked in the UK on 9 April, and arrived in France on 12 August.
