257th Battalion CEF
The 257th battalion was recruited in Ontario, Quebec, and New Brunswick, and mobilized in Saint John, New Brunswick, with a strength of 29 officers and 902 other ranks. The battalion embarked from Halifax on 17 February 1917, on the troop ship Missanabie, and disembarked in the UK on 26 February.
