48th Battalion CEF

The 48th battalion was recruited in Victoria, Prince Rupert, Kamloops, Okanagan Valley, Revelstoke, Nelson, Fernie and Cranbrook and mobilized in Victoria, British Columbia, with a strength of 38 officers and 1020 other ranks. The battalion embarked from Montreal on 1 July 1915, on the troop ship Grampian, and disembarked in the UK on 10 July.

47th Battalion CEF

The 47th battalion was recruited in New Westminster, Vancouver and Victoria and mobilized in New Westminster, British Columbia, with a strength of 36 officers and 1115 other ranks. The battalion embarked from Montreal on 13 November 1915, on the troop ship Missanabie, and disembarked in the UK on 22 November 1915, and arrived in France on 10 August 1916.

46th Battalion CEF

The 46th battalion was recruited in Moose Jaw, Regina, Weyburn, Estevan and Arcola and mobilized in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, with a strength of 36 officers and 1115 other ranks. The battalion embarked from Halifax on 23 October 1915, on the troop ship Lapland, and disembarked in the UK on 30 October, and arrived in France on 10 August 1916.

45th battalion CEF

The 45th battalion was recruited in Brandon, Portage la Prairie, Winnipeg, Virden, Souris, Minnedosa and Dauphin and mobilized in Brandon, Manitoba, with a strength of 38 officers and 1119 other ranks. The battalion embarked from Halifax on 17 March 1916, on the troop ship Lapland, and disembarked in the UK on 25 March.

44th Battalion CEF

The 44th battalion was recruited and mobilized in Winnipeg, Manitoba, with a strength of 36 officers and 1076 other ranks. The battalion embarked from  Halifax on 23 October 1915, on the troop ship Lapland, and disembarked in the UK on 30 October, and arrived in France on 10 August 1916.

43rd Battalion CEF

The 43rd battalion was recruited and mobilized in Winnipeg, Manitoba, with a strength of 40 officers and 998 other ranks. The battalion embarked from Montreal on 1 June 1915, on the troop ship Grampian, and disembarked in the UK on 9 June, and arrived in France on 20 February 1916.

42nd Battalion CEF

The 42nd battalion was recruited and mobilized in Montreal, Quebec, with a strength of 40 officers and 978 other ranks. The battalion embarked from Montreal on 10 June 1915, on the troop ship Hesperian, and disembarked in the UK on 19 June, and arrived in France on 9 September.

41st Battalion CEF

The 41st battalion was recruited in Ottawa and Quebec, with recruits supplied by 70th Hull, 54th Sherbrooke and 85th Montreal Regiments of Active Militia, and mobilized in Quebec City, Quebec, with a strength of 37 officers and 1082 other ranks. The battalion embarked from Quebec on 18 October 1915, on the troop ship Saxonia, and disembarked in the UK on 29 October.

40th Battalion CEF

The 40th battalion was recruited in Nova Scotia and mobilized in Aldershot, Nova Scotia, with a strength of 40 officers and 1090 other ranks. The battalion embarked from Quebec on 18 October 1915, on the troop ship Saxonia, and disembarked in the UK on 29 October.

39th Battalion CEF

The 39th battalion was recruited in Lindsay, Peterborough, Belleville, Port Hope, Trenton, Picton, Napanee, Kingston and Cobourg and mobilized in Belleville, Ontario, with a strength of 40 officers and 1003 other ranks. The battalion embarked from Montreal on 24 June 1915, on the troop ship Missanabie, and disembarked in the UK on 3 July.
